When we step into ritual, we step into the sacredness of being. We work with ceremonial cacao, held by the love of the plant spirit and its nutrients and wisdom.
Sound brings you back to yourself. Everything is frequency, everything is vibration. Through purposeful sounding, mind and body remember how to rest.

A held space to listen deeply, remember yourself, and hear the song of your heart. To let go of the stories and face what is asking to be seen.
Vocal Practices
A vocal practice is not singing lessons. There is no right note, no audience to please. It is using your own voice, unaccompanied or held by drum and shruti box, to move something that words cannot reach. Toning, chanting, breath, sound made without performance in mind.
A sound comes out of you that you did not plan. It is unpolished, maybe embarrassing, maybe it makes you want to laugh or cry in the same breath. That sound is usually the most honest thing in the room.
Prior to facilitating ceremonies, I worked for a decade as a sound engineer, refining vocal tracks within professional studios. This background taught me that human voices reveal truths the conscious mind often hides. One can sense sorrow, stress, or delight well before any verbal logic takes hold. My vocal work centers on this raw transparency.
You may notice a knot in your chest loosen. A tightness in the throat you did not know was there. Some people find their voice for the first time in years. Others are surprised by what comes out when nobody is listening for the "right" sound. It is less about a beautiful voice and more about an honest one.
Anchored in Tibetan Shamanism, in the ancient Bön tradition, these five primordial seed‑syllables are called “warrior” because they penetrate fear, confusion, and emotional blocks, awakening the wisdom and qualities inherent within us.

Essene Chakra Toning
The Essenes are an ancient and mystic lineage in Mediterranean traditions that used vocal toning in ceremony, often alongside crystals or stones laid on energy centres. They called this “toning,” using sacred vowels and sounds to clear stagnant energy and realign chakras with cosmic frequencies

Cacao Ceremonies
What began as quiet gatherings on the shores of Lake Atitlán has since blossomed into a global movement. These ceremonies are not a recreation of the past, but a living practice rooted in deep listening, presence, and the heart’s intention.
I was blessed to call Keith Wilson "The Chocolate Shaman" and the spark that started this movement , my teacher, my friend, and my mentor. The way I hold ceremony today is born from the time we shared together. I carry his lineage, the way he taught us to open and hold space, to set clear intentions, and to let cacao guide the way.
Cacao has been revered for thousands of years by the peoples of Mesoamerica; the Olmecs, Maya, Aztecs, and others as a sacred plant medicine. It was consumed during rites of passage, royal feasts, and spiritual offerings. Traces of cacao have been found in ceremonial vessels, tombs, and temples, marking its presence in ancient ritual life. Yet, despite this sacred use, there is no historical evidence that cacao was ever consumed in the form of what we today call a “Cacao Ceremony.”
Ceremonial Cacao
Keith Wilson originally coined the term “Ceremonial Cacao” to differentiate the high-vibration bean he served during his famous porch sessions in San Marcos, which eventually became the blueprint for modern Cacao Ceremonies
Historically recognized as a master plant, cacao was once revered as “Food of the Gods.” However, through mass industrialization and the extraction of cacao butter, the sacred medicinal potency of the bean was largely stripped away.
Driven by a deep connection to the Spirit of Cacao, Keith spent years researching its botanical origins, ancient history, and spiritual potential for self-growth. When he identified a specific bean that retained its original energetic integrity, he began offering it to those seeking a deeper experience.
The label “Ceremonial Cacao” was born from a simple practical need: to answer the constant question from his students about which specific cacao possessed such transformative power.To truly grasp why this particular cacao is designated as ceremonial, one must look past the modern myths and understand Keith’s own journey of discovery. The man whose curiosity and dedication bridged the gap between ancient botanical wisdom and modern heart-centered practice.
The idea of gathering in intentional circles to drink cacao, set heart-centered intentions, and engage in guided spiritual practices is a modern evolution. The term “Cacao Ceremony,” as we understand it now, combining ritual, voice, stillness, music, and energetic activation did not exist in pre-Columbian traditions.
This ceremonial format began to take shape in the early 2000s in San Marcos La Laguna, on the shores of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala. It was here that Keith Wilson, known to many as The Chocolate Shaman, began to share cacao in a new way.
Through years of deep listening, study, and channeled guidance, Keith uncovered how cacao could be used as a gentle yet profound heart-opening ally, not just as a sacred food, but as a facilitator of inner work, spiritual connection, and emotional clarity.
Since then, the practice of sitting in circle with cacao has expanded worldwide. While inspired by the ancestral reverence for the plant, today’s ceremonies are not a reconstruction of ancient rituals, they are a contemporary practice, born from modern consciousness, spiritual inquiry, and the visionary work of Keith Wilson.
